Fixtures calendar

Put a season of fixtures into everyone's calendar, with kick-off times and venues, so nobody has to ask again. The converter below opens with an example fixture list. Replace it with yours and download one file for the squad.

How to make your fixtures calendar

  1. Paste your fixtures. Copy the fixture list from your league's website, the club spreadsheet or the handbook, and paste it over the example rows. Keep one fixture per row.
  2. Include the useful bits. Opponent, date, kick-off time and venue. Home or away in the name, like "Home v Ashton Rovers", makes the calendar easy to read at a glance.
  3. Check the columns in step two: kick-off as the start time and the ground as the location. With a venue in the location, phones show a map link in the event.
  4. Set a reminder, such as a day before, and the default length. Ninety minutes plus half time suits most football matches.
  5. Name the calendar, for example "U12s fixtures 2026–27", and click Download .ics.

Sharing with players and parents

Post the file in your team group, attach it to the club email, or put it on the club website with a link and a QR code at the clubhouse. Each person adds it once, and gets a reminder before every match from then on.

One-off events

For a single date, like presentation night or a tournament, a calendar QR code on the poster is quicker. People scan it and the event is saved.

Questions

What if a kick-off time isn't confirmed yet?
Leave the time empty and the fixture becomes an all-day event on that date. Send the confirmed time when you have it.
Can I add meet times as well as kick-off?
Yes. Use the meet time as the start time and put "KO 15:00" in a notes column, or add a separate row for the meet.
How do I share it in a WhatsApp group?
Send the .ics file as a document. On iPhone, tapping it offers Add All; on Android, it opens in the calendar app.
A fixture moved. What now?
Calendar files are a one-off import, so post the change to the group. For big reshuffles, send a new file and ask people to delete the old calendar first.
